ANNA FROST

GUIDE
BASED IN: DURANGO, CO

At a young age my parents showed me and encouraged me to travel globally, explore locally and simply. We were diverse. We flew to Papua New Guinea where I grew up, we walked and camped in the Southern Alps of NZ, we lived in a blue Bedford van. I was exposed to the environment, where I now feel most at home.

Racing has been a huge part of my life but walking/running/fast-packing trails around the world has been most inspiring. To share that experience with people just makes it so much better.

My journeys have taken me to Nepal (2x) for 8 weeks of exploring and stage racing for the Everest Marathon; fastpacking and mountain running in Morocco; Trans Rockies stage race and other various long distance runs/FKT’s in Colorado; El Cruce stage race and mountain running in Argentina/Chile; backpacking in India; racing and backpacking around Europe; a couple weeks of running in national parks in Patagonia.

Some of my recent race achievements from 2015 are 1st place at the Hardrock 100 and the 1st woman ever to complete Nolans14 (57:55hr) 13th ever.

Career highlights include 90% win’s in over 50 international races since 2009; multiple course records including Mt Everest Marathon, The Bear100; 2nd World Sky Running Series, 2010, 2011, 2014; Highest ranked Australasian female trail runner.

I am happy to join the Rogue Expeditions team and explore more parts of the world that are new to me or part of my favorite places to be inspired. Read more about Anna here!
